In Uganda, teenage pregnancy and early marriage remain significant barriers to girls’ education and future success. At Kirunga Community Foundation (KCF), we are committed to changing this narrative by advocating for the education and protection of girls in vulnerable communities.

The Issue at Hand
Teenage pregnancy and child marriage often force girls out of school, trapping them in cycles of poverty and dependence. This not only limits their potential but also impacts their communities. Education is key to breaking these cycles, yet many girls lack the support they need to stay in school and avoid early marriage.

Our Approach
KCF works closely with families and communities to raise awareness about the importance of girl child education. Through our advocacy programs, we fight against child marriage and teenage pregnancy, providing safe spaces and support systems for young girls to pursue their dreams. We also offer scholarships to help disadvantaged girls access education at various levels.

A Call to Action
Protecting a girl’s future starts with education. By partnering with KCF, you can help ensure that every girl has the opportunity to learn, grow, and lead. Together, we can protect their future—one classroom at a time.
